On vacation until Monday 8-1-2016 Week 42.


Fri 7-22-2016. Chemistry 307 part of 4th floor cluster. Vacuum counter top. 5 glovebags of asbestos pipe insulation. Cut out these and other pipes. Job complete unless other things come up.

Ripper-Stripper on loan to Dell 1.


Thu 7-21-2016. Campbell Hall School of Architecture Library. Cut out portion of steel frame adjacent asbestos vynil floor tile.

Old Medical School MED 4782. Patch asbestos pipes. Remove ceiling tiles.

Chemistry 4th floor cluster where pipes go through the floor to Chemistry 307. Clean up and remove asbestos pipes.


Wed 7-20-2016. Old Medical School MED 4782. Floor tile phase is complete. Waiting for decision on the 2 pipes in ceiling. (a) Simply patch or (b) remove asbestos insulation or (c) remove entire pipes.

MR-4 Room 1035. Two sub-rooms. Floor carpet / tile / mastic. Scheduled for Saturday.

Chemistry 4th floor cluster. Suspicious half-inch panels are deemed non-asbestos.


Tue 7-19-2016. Old Medical School MED 4782. Two pipes with asbestos insulation above drop ceiling. Asbestos glazing to remove glass pane. A couple more minutes I would have had it out in one piece but supervisor came and broke it out. Floor carpet / tile / mastic.

Chemistry 4th floor cluster. Final day. Cut out pipes with asbestos insulation.

Chemistry 4th floor cluster. Suspicious half-inch panels were discovered in a wall and sandwiched between 2 metal panels. To be sampled and scheduled.


Mon 7-18-2016. Old Medical School MED 4782. Floor carpet / asbestos vynil tile / asbestos black and yellow mastic. Example Job Hazard Analysis. Also Training button for MSDS Chemsafe 100.

The correction occurs only when leave and overtime occur in the same week, not 2-week pay period. If it did, I would opt for keeping the 12 hours UL and getting only 22 hours OT. Explanation Week 29.
