Fri 1-13-2017. Safety Dept. is unable to locate USB infra-red reader for Air Gas Monitor. Plumbers have the calibration station, but no USB reader to download the measurements. We all need a safety protocol. (1) How should the $1,000 safety equipment be stored? (2) How should it be calibrated? (a) Default Pentane is close to most common chemical in the workplace. OR (b) Calibrate for Chemsafe 100 (Section 2 Hazard Identification) which is close to Pentane. It's extra work to focus on the customer. The data, LEL thresholds are in the Safety Data Sheet. (3) Safety Dept. should document any service performed on Air Gas Monitors and share that information as a way to build trust and transparency. (4) Inventory and location of equipment and service logs online.

Operators Manual. The new Air Gas Monitors finally arrived on Wed 1-27-2016. Job Hazard Analysis explains the chemicals and processes which line up with Training/Safety page of chemicals and Safety Data Sheets.

Wed/Thu/Fri 1-11/12/13-2017. Three more days of moving furniture.

Tue 1-10-2017. Move furniture, conference table and chairs. Filing cabinets to surplus.

Brooks Hall. Investigate water leak. Non-asbestos.

Move furniture at Bavarro Hall.

Mon 1-9-2017. Carruthers 219A. Strip of Floor tile / Mastic.

Haul furniture to surplus.

Rear window shatters intact when small plastic wheel becomes lodged against tool box and Truck 594 hits the right bump. Rear window began losing pieces with each bump back to shop for cleanup and report.
