Wed 3-8-2017. JAG School hallway at elevator and NCO Academy. B017 (2 rooms). Day 4. Floor tile / Mastic / Sheetrock. Examples how workload affects judgment. (a) Disposal bags are staged on loading dock. Someone starts helping and lowering the bags onto pavement. I say No! I'm backing up the van to dock right now. They wouldn't stop. So, instead of lowering the bags a couple feet into cargo van, we had to lift the bags again into the van. (b) At morning break I signed and photographed the wrong timesheet. Before that I had inhaled all those fumes in hallway mastic removal. (c) Just wait til we try to chisel up B017 floor tile. The small Ripper-Stripper is too lightweight and the heavy-duty is not effective.
Tue 3-7-2017. JAG School hallway at elevator and NCO Academy. Day 3. B017 (2 rooms). Floor tile / Mastic / Sheetrock. Hallway easy. B017 extremely labor intensive. Most people lack knowledge of the actual tasks and don't realize that physical stress affects emotional well-being and judgment. It's why you cannot do this job and take a class in the evening.
Alderman Library. Damaged floor tile. Smoothe rough edges so pieces can installed, leave in-place.
